To all space enthusiasts out there, 2017 is your year. Here are some of the most-awaited space explorations and missions happening this year.
SpaceX Will Launch The Falcon Heavy
SpaceX, a private company founded in 2002 and based in Hawthorne, California, finally made a hint that the much awaited Falcon Heavy will be deployed into space sometime this year. Insiders revealed that the Falcon Heavy restores the possibility of future explorations in the moon and even in Mars with its massive specifications. Falcon Heavy is one of SpaceX's masterpieces which can carry around 54 metric tons into orbit.
Just this January, SpaceX was successful on launching the Falcon 9 into space. According to CNN, the company headed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk was able to launch 10 satellites which shall be used by data company Iridium. Musk kept space exploration fans updated on his Twitter page during that time and it's most likely that he'll soon give updates about the Falcon Heavy too.

XCOR's Lynx Shall Begin Test Flights For A Possible Trip To Space For Ordinary People
Another private entity, XCOR is making a buzz recently for their project Lynx. The said project is aiming to provide a literal out of this world experience to ordinary individuals in the near future where anyone can have the opportunity to see what it's like to be in space without being an astronaut.
The said Lynx spaceplane can only carry two passengers, an XCOR pilot, and a ticketed passenger. Although this is a good news for all space fans out there, the estimated cost of the ticket could amount to a whopping USD 150,000, according to the Observer.
