Google Assistant Could Work On Non-Pixel Phones With Google's New App

Google Assistant is a voice-based digital assistant and smartphones exclusive feature could make it into non-pixel smartphones soon. Beta forms of the Google app and other applications that Google offers are available for installation while the alpha issues of the Google apps are not available.

The Android Police were able to found out that users can enable Google Assistant on some Nexus Devices. They also reported that there is a new Google app that can process payments as well as the information of the delivery by just using Google's app. It also has a recent research page and a lite mode which can be turned off or disabled under your account settings.

According to Android Authority, Google assistant may also bring advanced offline search features for downloading some pages on the internet if the user is experiencing some connectivity issues. However, the app is unstable, it also crashes the application often, and the condition can also happen on the user's Pixel phone.

Google had been a top trend in the smartphone market, not only that it had launched its own devices just like the Google Pixel, but also what came along with it which is the Google Assistant. The Google App is now working for the users of the Google App Build and it says that it is working on both Android 7.1.1 Nougat and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but somehow when it worked on a Nexus 6P smartphone, it is not guaranteed that it will also work on other smartphones as reported by Android Headlines.

The LG G6 could be the first smartphone to feature the new assistant before people see more devices offering the same app. There are still no precise details as of this Google app for now, but since it is being worked on, it is going to happen shortly, and fans may just have to wait a little bit longer.
