Snapchat is upping its way to being one of the tech giants. Snapchat is said to create an android smartphone that will help its consumers to use their camera feature more efficiently.
Mail Online has reported that Snapchat is planning to launch a smartphone that will have a 360-degree camera for its users. It will also launch a smartphone that will have a home button that looks like its ghost icon. There were also reports that Snapchat has hired an approximate of 50 hardware engineers and designers for this project.
Since Facebook and Instagram have made features that are very much alike to Snapchat, the camera app is slowing down its growth. "We thought what could be changed about a mobile device to make the camera and messaging at the forefront," Evan Asano, CEO, and founder of Mediakix said. Snapchat wants to be more advanced and innovated than other apps. They have rebranded themselves and will continue to do it to win against its competitors. It is now a camera app.
According to Economic Times, the smartphone that Snapchat will launch will easily navigate to Snapchat and its features. There will be buttons and swipe that are only for Snapchat's notifications and updates, messaging and syncing with Spectacles.
Snapchat is aiming to get most of its income from promotion and marketing. From that will compete against Google, Facebook and Twitter. The parent company of Snapchat, Snap Inc., has lately released major changes in its app. The changes have made easier for users to control the app with a universal search bar. The search bar is always available at the top of the app.
Snapchat is also planning to make "Our Story". It is a new international live story that any user around the world can add something to or share what they like at any time.
