Scientists have recently detected an earthquake through the use of instruments they put inside a flying balloon above California, the same mechanism that could soon detect "venusquakes."
Mars was thought of as a dead planet during the 1960s and 1970s but the Marsquakes and landslides observed in the later years have proven that it is still an active planet.
During their meeting, the research team reported that InSight had detected almost 500 small 'marsquakes,' although only a few with a magnitude higher than 4.5, said Paul Voosen.
