Harley-Davidson Expands Street Line up With Another Bike -- The New Street Rod 750

The new Harley-Davidson Street Rod bike is totally built for a city ride. Consistent with the family of Harleys, the vehicle is impressively powerful. Every look of the vehicle spells awesomeness, power, and style. It is a middleweight bicycle which can surely handle the traffic and the congestion in the city. "The Street Rod will put the excitement in any urban drive," said Mathew Weber, Harley-Davidson Chief Engineer for the Street Rod. "We've coordinated the powerful new High Output Revolution X 750 motor with an improved chassis or body and up-rated suspension features to make the Street Rod fast, light-handling with and easy to ride."

The High Output Revolution X 750 motor or engine that the bike is fitted with gives it 18 percent more horsepower and 8 percent more torque than the regular Revolution X 750 motor. The new single-overhead-cam V-Twin motor features a bigger air box, another double throat throttle body, amended four-valve cylinder heads and high-lift camshafts, and a higher-volume muffler detailed Yahoo.

Intentionally, the bike was made to look huge and the inverted, dark anodized forks and triple clamps together with a new speed screen helped to accomplished that. The bike looks significantly more threatening with the 17-inch ground clearance. The front end highlights rigid 43mm inverted forks held by a lightweight aluminum triple clasp. To make the steering quicker, the fork rake edge is fixed from 32 to 27 degrees, revealed Maxim.

The wheels of the bike are effective as the Street Rod moves on lightweight, 17-inch front and back Split 7 Spoke Black Cast Wheels and new Michelin Scorcher 21 spiral tires. Dual 300mm-width front circle brakes deliver sure stopping power. Antilock Braking (ABS) and the Harley-Davidson Smart Security System are factory-installed choices or options for the Street Rod.
