Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Price Point Stays Competitive With Apple iPad Pro; See Specs Here

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 price point is reportedly competitive with the Apple iPad Pro. Both devices are priced at $599.99. Though Samsung's tablet is a bit pricey for an Android tablet, the tab's full package that includes a keyboard is still less expensive than Apple's next generation of iPad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's $599.99 price tag is only applicable in the United States. It remains to be seen how much the tablet would cost outside the country. Needless to say, it's amount seems to be worth it compared to what the tab offers as its specs are comparable to Apple iPad Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specs include a 9.7-inch display, which is similar to the size of Apple's newest iPad screen. The upcoming flagship tablet from the South Korean multinational smartphone maker also sports a 2048 x 1536 screen resolution. Not bad for a $599.99 tablet, right?

As for its processor, a report by The Verge revealed that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 820 with a RAM of 4GB. For users who are on the lookout for higher storage, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 storage capacity could not be too impressive at 32GB. However, it's expandable to 256GB through a microSD card.

More specs include a 5MP front shutter and a 13MP back camera. It can support Vulkan API for gaming and HDR for video playback. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is also said to ship with Nougat out of the box.

Like the Apple iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 keyboard is sold separately. According to TechnoBuffalo, the $599.99 price point already includes the S Pen stylus from Best Buy but a separate keyboard is available for an additional $129.99. For reference, Apple's iPad is sold at the same price but without the stylus that costs $99 and additional $149.99 for the keyboard.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, however, is not yet available in the market for purchasing. Consumers can't place pre-orders as well. There's no word on its release date but it seems the highly anticipated tablet is coming soon.
