Trump & Pence Plans To Open National Space Council

After signing the bill giving NASA billions of money to bring astronauts to Mars, Trump administration is now planning on opening the National Space Council again. The council was first opened by the Bush administration for easier access to the white house to the space agency.

The NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017, which Trump signed on Monday, is really going to happen. Not only that because Pence mentioned about the re-establishing of National Space Council after Trump signed the bill. President Trump ordered the Congress to re-open the National Space Council. Pence will be the chairman of the said council, according to him and Trump just nods and said yes to it. Trump administration will bring the best and the smartest people from NASA and other private sectors to the council, Pence added.

Trump, during his signing of the bill, has mentioned that he is really happy about the bill, Space reported. The president is happy and proud that a bill about NASA and its core mission of human space exploration and space technology. Even though Trump and his allies have not mentioned much of their space plans during his first months in the office, it looks like they are doing everything now. Announcing things like this has made some other legislators happy, especially those who attend that seem to be interested in space exploration too.

Trump sees NASA as a great job opening for many Americans. He said during the signing event that he was sad when the space shuttle program closed in Florida and is hoping this new bill will give jobs to those scientists and researchers who lost them. He and Pence have vowed to continue building the huge Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft. That will make NASA's space exploration farther and wider, stated Mashable. "We have elected a builder for president and as he said, America once again is to start building and leading to the stars," Pence said.
