Global Warming Helps Arctic Animals: Study Finds

Global warming has been affecting the world day by day. Similarly, it has adverse effects for the arctic region with high rise in temperature, loss of sea ice and majorly melting of Greenland ice sheets. Check out if it is good or bad.

Everyone knows the major reason behind the increase of Global warming in humans. Due to this, there has been a constant rise in temperature and misbalancing of the environment. According to Lightwave, unless the mankind stops producing a significant amount of Carbon dioxide emissions, the world's animals will not be able to survive.

The constant rise in temperature has put a red alert for the species in some parts of the world. A recently published research by the University of Southern Denmark suggested that animals in Arctic regions are growing because of higher global temperature due to global warming.

According to The Blaze, due to the global warming, warmer conditions are produced which forms a number of life-sustaining ponds from melted ice on arctic waters. The melt ponds provide more light and heat for the ice and the water below. The study says that this can be helpful for the life in arctic waters.

Researchers found that due to these melt ponds, nutrients are able to reach sea creatures more easily in arctic water. After seeing the constant rise in global warming, NASA and the national snow and ice data center reveals that the water level in Arctic and Antarctic regions are at their lowest recorded point since 1979.

Almost about two million square kilometers of Arctic sea ice are estimated to have been lost since 1979. The current data shows that 14.28 million square kilometers of sea ice are only remaining. USA today declares that the constant loss of sea ice is very much terrifying due to Global warming.
