Apple fans now have something to look forward into as the company plans to create a cutting-edge 8K resolution Apple Mac Mini 2017. While 5K is already impressive, Apple is bent to incorporate the latest 8K technology in their Mac Mini. At any rate, Apple is not yet ready to share nor confirm the details about this information.
To recall, the Dell UltraSharp already features the relatively new 8K resolution. While their unit costs around $5,000 in the US, it is likely that Apple Mac Mini is going to follow suit. Plans are en route to incorporate 8K in the high-end Apple renditions.
In June 2016, Apple shelved the Thunderbolt Display for the standalone market. But it became clear just now that Apple is taking a new course for its Mac Mini and 8K is the name of the game. Mac Rumors said that Apple is likely to swerve away from the iMac 5K display tradition that it forged together with LG UltraFine 5K technology. Further, Apple is looking forward to new partnerships after allegations of hardware problems with the 5K display.
The Mac Mini came with new lights as the potential candidate for 8K. After all, it has been a while since Apple upgraded the 2014 version of the Mac Mini. In fact, it can be deemed "outdated" under tech standards since Mac Mini has last seen a boost in October 2014. Until today, Apple Mac Mini fans can look forward to revamped high-end models.
Currently, Dell and Sony are sharing the lead over 33 megapixels and a billion of colors that 8K resolution can offer, according to The Verge. Apple Mac Mini could be the third candidate if they will breathe life into the "sleeping" product line. While relatively expensive, high-end markets can enjoy the UP3218K in Mac Mini. It is unclear though if the Cupertino tech giant will deploy a new mouse and keyboard for the Mac Mini as well.
