Android 7.0 Nougat Starts Rolling in HTC One M9 Throughout Asia

HTC rolled out its stocks of the incredible handset: One M9 during December last year. The company has now been heard to reveal Android Nougat update for the same. As per potential insights, HTC has just started releasing Android 7.0 Nougat update for One M9 throughout the major regions of Asia. The update has reportedly been rolled out as a firmware over the air.

According to GSMArena, the software update has been rolled out with a number encoded as 4.23.425.1. Bringing content of around 1.5 GB to HTC One M9, the software version unveils Android 7.0 Nougat on the smartphone alongside some other essential types of stuff like Google's latest android security patch and more. It should be noted in this context that the U.S. variants of HTC One M9 also saw Android 7.0 Nougat update recently, but this was limited to those only who are using T-Mobile carrier.

As per a report by The Android Soul, the software update for Android 7.0 Nougat has just been launched on HTC One M9 in Asia. So, it may take some time to automatically reach out to each and every copy of the smartphone in the country. However, it can be installed manually as well. Those who are not willing to wait can check for it in their HTC One M9 models by heading to Settings> About device> System updates. Hopefully, the automatic update won't take much time to be evolved.

The software version is about 1.52 GB approximately. So, it would require some good enough space to be properly installed in the smartphone's memory. Also, to download the full update uninterruptedly, a user of HTC One M9 must ensure that he/she has sufficient battery backup as well as a reliable Wi-Fi connection before beginning the process. The company is also expected to soon release Android 7.0 Nougat update for its HTC One M9 handset in other countries too.
