HTC U 11 Specs, Price: Red Squeezable Smartphone With Edge Sense Technology Leaked In 360 Render Video [WATCH]

As HTC announced that its new smartphone series would be led by the HTC U 11 codenamed Ocean, new leaks have emerged. The squeezable successor for HTC 10 is reported to be revealed at its upcoming event on May 16.

According to The Tech Portal, the leaked online render of the HTC U 11 was revealed by reliable leaker named @OnLeaks. The glossy hot red finish of the HTC flagship device was then compared to be quite similar to the latest iPhone 7 RED smartphone. It was also added that HTC U 11's grandest feature is its integration of the Edge Sense Technology. It was identified that it the Sense 9 feature would enable users to navigate the device through squeezing or swiping the device.

Furthermore, it was also cited that another leak pointed that the HTC U 11 would have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. The device is mentioned to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via memory card. The flagship device was also expected to run the latest Android 7.1 Nougat and would be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

Moreover, Android Police shared that another reliable leaker named Evan Blass unveiled that the upcoming squeezable device of HTC aside from the HTC U 11 would be available in colors white, black, blue, red, and silver. But, the colors was said to not be available in all markets.

Other features of the HTC U 11 specifically the camera was said to be a dynamic 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Of course, the fingerprint sensor was mentioned to be placed at the home button. Yet, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack described but showed an USB Type-C port instead. The device was said to have its highlight to be its edge sensor feature.

Regarding the release date and price, it wasn’t yet stated how much the HTC U 11 would cost. Rest assured, it would be announced in HTC’s upcoming event on May 16.
