Samsung Galaxy S8 Vs. Huawei P10 Specs Comparison: The Battle Goes On Between Which Is Best

Ever since Huawei and Samsung have released its flagship smartphones, tech enthusiasts have been long wondering who would prevail as this year’s best android smartphone. However, Huawei’s P10 and Samsung Galaxy S8 was found out to excel in different categories of their own.

According to The New Paper, Samsung Galaxy S8’ takes the lead in design due to its integration of its Infinity Display. Yet, Huawei P10 doesn’t want to be left behind S8 in other categories like its camera features for photography enthusiasts.

Samsung Galaxy S8 sports the latest Exynos 8895 processor which was described to consume 40% power and provides 27% higher performance. Meanwhile, Huawei’s P10 runs on its very own Kirin 960 which provides smoother performance than the company’s previous Kirin 955.

Regarding what’s inside, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Huawei P10 both has 4GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. However, the S8’s battery was stated to be 3,000mAh and is equipped with a 9V 1.67A system. While the P10 is powered with a 3,200mAh along with a 5V4.5A Super Charge system.

Camera-wise the Huawei P10 lets its Leica dual camera speak for itself. The smartphone was mentioned to produce stunning images through its 20-megapixel monochrome and a 12-megapixel sensor with a wider f/2.2 aperture. Samsung Galaxy S8’s camera has a 2MP rear camera with a f/1.7 aperture as Vulcan Post reported.

Speaking of other features, Huawei P10 doesn’t offer that much. Samsung Galaxy S8, on the other hand, has its Samsung DeX Station support to let consumers turn their smartphone into a desktop. Of course, the S8’s AI Bixby assistant, iris scanner along with its facial recognition wouldn’t be forgotten. Other than that, the S8 has access to its Samsung Gear 360 which enables users to capture 360 angled photos and videos.

Overall, it was deemed that Huawei P10 has a cheaper price of $798 while Samsung galaxy S8 has a pricey cost of $1,148. Huawei P10 wins due to its camera and price. However, in terms of design and other features, Samsung Galaxy S8 takes the victory.
