Microsoft next move is making a big buzz in the online news as of late. The Redmond-based company reportedly might be forced to unveil the Surface Pro 5 at its May 23 event in Shanghai. What makes the multi-tech company decide to launch the said device much earlier as expected?
Microsoft a multinational tech company that develops, support, license and manufacture computer software, hardware devices and online services. Some of their famous software products are the Windows operating system (OS), the Office suite and Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers. While their well-known hardware devices are the Xbox game console and Microsoft Surface tablet line. Now, the Surface Pro 5 allegedly was the ultimate pro tablet the giant tech company is planning to unveil this year.
Surface Pro 5 is Microsoft flagship device planned to launch later this year but it appears that it will be released much earlier as scheduled. Earlier reports disclosed that low Surface Pro sales make the giant tech company decides to unveil it. And speculations are spreading that it might happen on the Redmond-based company's upcoming event in China.
According to The Verge, Microsoft just recently made an announcement that they will hold an event later this month with a slogan saying "show the world what's next". The Redmond-based company says that the event will be held on May 23rd in Shanghai but it never divulged any other information what will they show up. Rumors are now spreading that it could the Surface Pro 5.
Microsoft told The Verge to expect new hardware on the event making some indication that the Surface Pro 5 could be the new device the giant tech company would introduce. One Microsoft official also hints the supposed arrival of the said gadget by tweeting a hashtag "#Surface" through his Twitter account.
BGR further added that Microsoft might likely unveil the Surface Pro 5 on the Shanghai event later this month given that a follow up on the Surface Pro line has taken for too long already. Though the Redmond-based company had announced two latest products that include Windows 10 S operating system and the Surface Laptop earlier this week, consumers are not thrilled about it.
But aside from Surface Pro 5, Microsoft allegedly will also present the Surface Book 2 as the company's latest laptop product line. With that, people are looking forward to the Shanghai event on May 23rd hoping that these newest devices will readily be available on the market.
