After the historic downfall in stocks faced by Microsoft with its earlier Windows Phones, the company went for a long interval in its smartphone lineup. But, by beginning a new era of technology with its Surface lineup of devices, the company also focused on freshening the air with an upcoming Surface Phone.
Although since its announcement, tech lovers have been more stimulated over the next-gen smartphone with multiple speculations. However, Microsoft, moving with its traditional values, didn't spare any moment on such unspecified rumors, keeping the secrecy alive over Surface Phone. Now it's the company CEO who revealed some words about their upcoming smartphone.
According to Deccan Chronicle, Microsoft will have its next launch event on May 23, 2017, which is just days away from now. The company also just announced the Windows 10 S alongside its next Surface laptop at its education party which held on May 2. The May 23's event, also marked as Build developer conference, is said to reveal some essential hardware refreshments and updates for Microsoft Surface Pro 4. But those, who were eagerly waiting to see the official debut of the new Surface Phone may face disappointment, as Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella indicated that the company's next Surface marked handset won't be seen at the next launch event.
However, Forbes pointed that Microsoft may be looking forward to building a completely innovative type of never seen before smartphone in the name of Surface Phone. Recently, while having a conversation with Molly Wood about a vast number of things, Nadella stated: "when you say we'll make more phones, I'm sure we'll make more phones, but they will not look like phones that are there today." Though he refused to fetch more insights about the upcoming surprise, it was enough to sense that Microsoft is planning something extremely beautiful under the hud of Surface Phone.
Microsoft CEO also pointed that the company has a set plan to have mobile launch event by the end of this year. The indications are quite clear for tech lovers to witness a Surface Phone by the fall of 2017.
