Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch Could Be Unveiled Next Month

Apple will be hosting the annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in June this year where attendees witness new operating systems, innovative technologies among many other things. As far as software is concerned, the WWDC is like the temple of new information for everything related to Apple. However, reports on the internet hint that Apple might unveil their new 10.5-inch iPad Pro at the same event.

As per reports from Mashable, the redesigned iPad Pro 10.5 might be announced next month. One of the case manufacturers for Apple iPad, Urban Armor Gear (UAG) has conspicuously listed the 10.5-inch iPad Pro as one of the devices compatible with their cases. Moreover, the information is indirectly sourced from a very popular case maker for the iPad.

Other details from 9To5Mac, the case maker for Apple iPads shared information about the new cases for Apple iPad Pro 10.5 inch in three color combinations while the availability of the same is expected to be in June this year. It's the same case that is also supporting the existing smart keyboard and also holds the Apple Pencil, both of which are currently compatible with the 12.9-inch variant of the Apple iPad Pro.

The website also mentions about a KGI report dating back to August last year speculating that a cheaper variant of the iPad Pro tablets from Apple would be unveiled this year, which of course turned out to be the 'Apple iPad' that was released in March. At the moment, the launch event for the Apple iPad 10.5 inch variant is unknown but there is a likely possibility of it being unveiled at the Apple WWDC event from Jun. 05-09.

Apple is currently concentrating on redesigning the upcoming iPhones that are expected to be announced in September this year. While the two existing iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be replaced by the 'S' variants, the third new device is likely the iPhone 8 that will feature wireless charging capabilities. With all these in mind, the Apple iPad Pro 10.5 inch launch would be a bit of a concern for the manufacturer.
