The iPhone 8 10th Anniversary Edition Could Cost More Than $1,000

Though there is no official announcement yet but based on iPhone 8 rumors, the Apple's 10th anniversary is fast approaching. The anticipation is high enough among Apple fans and it can be assumed that the device will be unlike anything ever released before. Rumors predict that iPhone 8 will cost as much as a Macbook, which is near about $1,100.

The iPhone 8 will probably the fastest phone on Earth because of the A11 processor. The features and specs of this phone are going to be quite attractive and there is a possibility that it may take down the flagship of Samsung Galaxy S8.

According to Mac Rumors, the price of iPhone 8 will start at $999, that's for the 128GB model. Those people who want to more storage like 256 GB would pay $1,099. The price would lie between $999 MacBook Air and $1,299 12-inch MacBook.

However, the rumors can not understand why this kind of hefty price tag is set for iPhone 8. They also point to Tim Cook and his company debuting lower-cost iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus this fall. Those phone will likely get the same A11 chip and wireless charging but not an edge to edge OLED screen.

This is not the first time when rumors heard about iPhone 8 price. In February, when the company reported a similar price range and also predicting that Apple's flagship wouldn't sport any buttons at all, Yahoo reported.

Furthermore, Apple iPhone 8 will come with several features, let's discuss one by one. Apple is removing the home screen button and slowly going wireless. It will also have a curved screen with a glassy body. iPhone 8 is expected to sport with 4K OLED display with a dual camera.

One of most interesting features is locking and unlocking iPhone 8 with facial recognition technology. Some rumors predict the iPhone 8 will embed the Touch ID sensor on the screen, while others say it will find a home on the back.

Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy starts at $750 and the Galaxy S8 Plus $850, so if this rumor proves true, the iPhone 8 will cost at least $150 more than Samsung Galaxy 8. Finally, iPhone 8 is expected to release during the last quarter of 2017.
