Motorola is set to announce the latest device on their product line tomorrow. The company reportedly will unveil the Moto Z2 Play following rumors about it the past couple of weeks. But before its unveiling, leaked images of the said device have been online right now and reveals some interesting feature about it.
Motorola is one of the pioneers in the telecommunication and networking industry. Founded in 1928, it is one of the companies that established and initiate the business of telecommunication in the world. It designed and sold wireless network equipment such as transmission types of equipment and signal amplifiers where they gained their popularity.
Motorola is also one of the pioneers in cellular telephones when they introduced the Personal Communication Sector (PCS) in the mid-1990s to mid-2000s where "mobile phone" was born. However, the company was acquired by Lenovo in 2014 due to financial difficulties and now has ventured on producing high-end devices like smartphones.
And now, Motorola purportedly will announce its latest smartphone in the market. According to TechRadar, the Moto Z2 Play has been kept a secret to the public but a tweet coming from the company's branch in Canada might have exposed its existence. The tweet said that Motorola will announce "the next bold phone" tomorrow (June 1) which appears to be pertaining to the Moto Z2 Play.
The post also comes with a GIF bitmap image of the alleged handset but it is not clear whether it is the Moto Z2 Play. Motorola has not released any details about the device however leaked image of it is already circulating online revealing some interesting specs and features of it.
According to Gadgets 360, leaked images of the Moto Z2 Play shows some Moto Mods feature at the back and a camera bump design. Aside from it, the device will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD (1080 X 1920 pixels) resolution that will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset.
Moto Z2 Play will run under the Android 7.1.1 Nougat software with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also has a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3000mAh Li-Ion battery and will be available in gray and gold color. Motorola has not divulged the release date and price of the said device and that might happen during the supposed announcement of the device tomorrow.
