AMD To Launch Its Powerful Vega-Based Graphic Card On June 27; Radeon RX Vega For PC Gaming Might Wait Until August

AMD has something exciting to offer to its valued consumers in the coming weeks. The Sunnyvale-based tech company is set to launch its powerful Vega-based graphics card on June 27. However, the said graphic card is not for PC gaming and gamers might wait until August for the Radeon RX Vega GPU.

AMD is a multinational semiconductor company that designs and develops computer processors and other electronic related products. Right now, the Semicon company is one of the major players in the consumer electronic business. Some of its prime commodities include motherboard chipsets, graphic processing units, microprocessors and embedded application for consumer and business markets.

Every now and then, AMD tried to introduce new innovated products to keep abreast with other top semiconductor company like Intel, Nvidia and IBM. Now, the company is set to unveil another impressive product that will surely a good news for business professional and sadly not for PC gamers.

According to Digital Trends, AMD has announced during a press conference recently that they will introduce its first powerful graphic card based on a Vega chip on June 27. The graphic card will be named as Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, that will target the professional entrepreneur market and also serve as an upgrade to the Radeon Pro Duo and Radeon Pro WX 7100.

AMD made the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition one powerful graphic card by featuring it with a 64 compute units (around 4,096 stream processors), 16GB of HBM video memory and more or less 25 teraflops of compute performance. As said earlier, the product will target the professional market but how about the gaming patrons of the company?

AMD made a hint about the upcoming Radeon RX Vega graphic card according to TechRadar. PC gamers might have to wait a little longer before the RX Vega GPU will be available. Previous reports had said that the said GPU will be launch during the Computex event but the company says otherwise.

AMD declared that the much anticipated Radeon RX Vega GPUs for PC gaming will not be introduced until the SIGGRAPH 2017 event, which will start on July 30 and ends on August 3 at Los Angeles, California. The company believed that SIGGRAPH 2017 event is the perfect venue to showcase the high-performance Vega product line to the general public.
