Samsung Galaxy 6 Release and Rumors: New Phone May Have 5 Different Versions

If a sellers' loyalty is defined by the fact they never let their customers down, then Samsung is loyal. Even before the S5 users can get tired of their current device, Samsung, which is the world's largest smart phone manufacturer, is already making plans to unveil the S6 smart phone. According to CNET Korea, the phone will be designed in different styles which will suit both the right and left handed.

The images of the newest phone in the market as revealed by an electronic distributor in South Korea are seen in a 3D render consisting of 5 phones. One of the phones looks like the standard S6, then there is one with the Versus branded cover.

Other arraigned phones brings out Samsung's idea clearly. The phones seem to have the sloped screen designed for the Galaxy Note Edge. Looking at the images, one can tell that this version will be dual-edged because there is a phone with curved edge at the right, the other at the left. The reasoning behind this decision is that it will be suitable for both left and right handed people.

Although it is unclear from the shown image if the Galaxy S6 and its edges are fully metallic, it is clear that the outer rims are metallic just like the S5. Samsung insiders have assured users through ZDNet Korea that the edged sides will be symmetrical and aluminum will be used in construction.

Even with this new project, Samsung has been facing stiff competition from other manufactures such as Apple and Xiaomi. This has actually led to the decline in its operating profit especially in the company's IT and mobile divisions which accounts for the two third of the business. We hope that S6 will make better sales than S5 which sold 40% less than expected.
