A fresh batch of Starlink internet satellites will launch atop SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday evening. Fans who are interested can watch it on specified stations online.
In a tweet, SpaceX announced that some 49 additional satellites were due to join the Starlink constellation. It was initially set for launch Monday, but due to weather circumstances at their launch and landing sites, experts pushed back the transport.
If weather conditions are good, SpaceX targets Tuesday, January 18 at 7:04 PM ET, according to the most recent SpaceX tweet.
Notably, the US Space Force estimates that there would be a 95 percent likelihood of excellent weather on the launch day, indicating that the launch will most likely go through as scheduled.
Starlink Satellites Mission: Falcon 9 Rocket Launch
According to Space.com, the next launch will be SpaceX's third trip this month. It will also be SpaceX's 36th dedicated Starlink mission. NASA's Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida will host the space project.
The Starlink satellites will be put onto the Falcon 9 rocket by SpaceX. This partly reusable launch vehicle is particularly well-known for its dependability in space transportation.
Following the launch, fans may expect the Falcon 9 to be recovered by the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean. This landing will likely produce a sonic boom like its space mission earlier this week.
Starlink Internet Service Update
The Starlink satellites are part of a global network that allows internet access from any location on the planet. Its initial constellation will include roughly 4,400 satellites, hardly enough to cover the world's top hemisphere.
Elon Musk mentioned in a tweet that there should be 1,469 satellites operational at this time. According to Space, he also stated that 272 of them are in operational orbits ranging from 540 to 560 kilometers (335 to 348 miles) from Earth.
This latest series of Starlink satellites is expected to enhance internet connectivity for Earth consumers significantly. Customers should test this new and increasing internet connection with the latest upgrade.
How to Watch Launch
SpaceX generally broadcasts its space missions 15 minutes before launch, so enthusiasts should tune in early. The launch will be broadcast live on SpaceX's official website and YouTube channel.
The impending launch is pinned to the top of the "SpaceX Upcoming Launches" page at the time of writing. To begin their webcast, fans should click on the "Watch" button.
