X-Ray Technician Shocked After Meeting a Patient With Missing Skeleton; What Happened to the Man Without Bones?

A surprising story was shared on Reddit about a man without bones. The X-ray technician and his consultant were shocked after the discovery.

X-Ray Technician Meets a Man Without Skeleton

A story posted on the NoSleep subreddit detailed an encounter between an X-ray technician named Jack, his coworker and consultant Carol, and an unnamed man, whom they discovered to have no bones.

A man reportedly visited them to check for a suspected fracture from training. However, Jack was surprised after seeing the patient's X-ray as it showed no bones, so he talked to his consultant, Carol, who ordered him to do it again and ensure that the machine was calibrated.

Jack said they did it several times and had the same results. He even X-rayed himself to check if the machine was fine. He then showed Carol the results of his X-ray, compared to the patient.

Carol examined the results and exclaimed, "He's got no f--king bones, Jack!"

Carol and Jack agreed to put the patient on the CT scan machine. Carol asked Jack if he examined the patient physically as he appeared physically well, so they couldn't comprehend how he could hold his body together without a skeleton.

"There's something there, solid, feels a bit... I shuddered at the memory of touching the patient, how his tibia seemed to squirm under my fingers, 'wrong,'" Jack said.

Carol also examined the patient, and they convinced him to do a CT scan. Jack told the patient it would give them a better view of his soft tissues, muscles, and organs. He also assured the patients that there was nothing to concern him.

However, when they saw the CT scan result, both were shocked. Carol immediately ordered them to quarantine, pointing out that both touched the patient.

What Did the CT Scan Result Show?

According to Jack, the patient has no bones. However, something inside his body kept him together, supporting his internal framework.

"I panned over the image, but they were everywhere. Everywhere meant to have bone had been replaced by -" the story continued.

"Insects. Thousands of them. Densely packed together, columns run throughout the patient's body. Their carapaces picked out it blinding white on the screen, bodies locked together by spindly legs, needle-thin antenna poking out from the masses."

He noted that the X-rays didn't show it, but the CT scan "revealed them in sickening detail.

"The terrible things made shapes, and with horror, I realized they had taken the place of his bones; the radius, ulnar, femur, even the god damn skull remade from a mosaic of insect bodies, each smaller than a grain of rice," the poster added.

Why Did It Happen?

Based on the conversation between Jack and Carol, it was down to bioweapons. Carol blamed themselves for what happened to the man. Jack was in denial, arguing that they were just radiology and they only scanned the patients and looked after them.

"Look that poor bastard in the eye and tell him we don't make bioweapons. Look at him through the glass and tell him you're innocent," Carol told Jack.

Jack said the man was still alive but was "melting." His limbs were distending, lengthening, and distorting. His spine was deformed and bent forward horribly. His skull collapsed on one side, his stretching skin began to split, and white shapes poured free from the gashes.

Bioweapons are biological and toxin weapons that are microorganisms like viruses, bacteria, fungi, or toxic substances produced by living organisms that are produced to deliberately cause disease and death among humans, animals, or plants, according to the World Health Organization.

Biological agents like anthrax, botulinum toxin, and plagues cause many deaths in a short amount of time. There were speculations that the COVID-19 outbreak was a bioweapon. However, the bioweapon conspiracy was reportedly not true.

According to a study, "the historical effect of bioweapons pales in comparison to the devastation of COVID-19."

United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Syria, Japan, and Iraq have had bioweapon programs. China and Iran have never admitted to a developed program.

Also, the Biological Weapons Convention of 1972 declared the development, production, and stockpiling of bioweapons a war crime. As of August 2019, 183 countries ratified or acceded to the treaty, including China, Russia, Iran, and the United States.
