One of the recent UFO whisteblowers at the Congress has revealed a massive loophole in the plans of the government to monitor and look into unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
Mysterious UAP Sightings
According to Futurism, UFO whistleblower Ryan Graves, who is the co-founder and present executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace, explained that while he served as a Naval pilot, he and his colleagues regularly observed aircraft off the Virginia Beach coast that had no observed propulsion. Graves adds that these could stay motionless even in hurricane winds that reach Category-4. He also adds that these may boost to become supersonic and end up functioning the entire day, enough to overpower fighter jets.
Graves further explains through Newsweek that such UAPs can still be seen today. However, humanity is still uncertain about what they exactly are, and the government still does not know the issue's full scope. The former Naval pilot further explains that this is due to both military and commercial pilots encountering such UAPs but leaving most cases unreported.
Before testifying in late July, Graves noted that Americans for Safe Aerospace had contacted over 30 people who were able to witness UAPs. Since he appeared before the House Subcommittee, he explains that even more people have come forward with similar stories to tell.
The ex-pilot added that most witnesses were pilots of commercial airlines. The most recent reports were issued just the previous week.

No UAP Reporting Protocol
Yahoo! News adds that though the Congress and the Pentagon have exerted effort to shed light on UAP, there is still no streamlined protocol for reports. Graves also explains that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) just forwards pilots to report such cases to groups that are not handled by the government without doing any analysis or follow ups.
The lack of interest displayed by the FAA leads to stigma for pilots and hinders them from reporting such cases. On top of this, these pilots could also face retaliation from the ones that employ them as a consequence for speaking up. Graves explains that pilots fear the possible administrative punishment or failure to get the medical status of the flight for having the UAP reported.
This means that there are many more UAP sightings compared to what has been let on by the government. Yahoo! News further explains that if the claims of Graves are to be held as truth, this oversight means that there is a huge gap in the government's knowledge of such odd sightings.
The UFO whistleblower further adds that commercial pilots are remarkably trained sky observers. As such, he also questioned why the government does not focus on the UAP reports from these credible witnesses who play vital roles in the safety of millions and who are fueled towards national security.
