Apple 'iPhone 8' Leaks & Updates: Release Date, Price, OLED Screen, Steel Body & Wireless Charging

Steel body and wireless charging are the latest features of Apple iPhone 8. Fans need any more for its coming in September.

September 2017 is the most popular and believable date for the release of the new Apple iPhone 8 flagship. Macworld recalled how the latest batch of Apple's smartphones was released last autumn. But although it's hard to predict the same date for the iPhone 8, there's still a great possibility of the next model to be introduced on the same date. Besides, Apple always follows their strategic marketing regarding the release dates of their models which all falls on March and September of the previous years.

Consequently, it's a question why Apple iPhone 8 will be released in September 2017, right before iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s. Widespread speculation that Apple is going to miss iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s to prioritize the launch of iPhone 8 or fold it in answers the issue. Additionally, it is said that Apple will end the 'S' generation of their smartphones.

Meanwhile, because of its new steel body, OLED screen, and wireless charging feature, the Apple iPhone 8 is rumored to cost more than $1,000. Accordingly, the new apple of the eye of the company is said to come in a 5.8 inches OLED screen and an all-new glass and steel body design. If this happens, iPhone 8 will be the first and only iPhone model to come in steel body.

Furthermore, the popularity of wireless charging nowadays gave the idea to tech enthusiasts and patiently waiting fans to speculate, Telegraph reported. This is based on the fact that Apple just recently joined membership to Wireless Power Consortium. WPC is an industry group working on wireless charging capability for new devices.

With Qi wireless charging, Apple iPhone 8 won't be needed to be plugged into its cable anymore. Besides, this Apple is already using this Qi wireless charging on its Apple Watch. However, all of these are merely speculations with some basis, the truth behind will be unveiled until Apple already announced the iPhone 8.
