Peugeot Unveils New Car in Freedom Instinct Concept Bringing Vision of a Nature-Friendly Future

The French manufacturer Peugeot has revealed its latest car concept. However, the concept isn't as wildly futuristic but rather freedom instinct.

Peugeot has long-time working on its different concept cars, The Verge reported. Previously they have the Jetsons-like 1986 Proxima, the urban two-seater called Moovie and the rocket-shaped Asphalt. A new car concept from the company was revealed at the Mobile World Congress 2017 event.

Consequently, the newly concept car doesn't look as wildly futuristic compared to its previous creations. People might think the idea as unusual but Peugeot designers confirmed that the concept is exactly the idea they want to confer.

According to Media Center, the instinct concept of the Peugeot car was inspired by the idea of a car which can barely offer peace of mind with full awareness of its surroundings. Likewise, Peugeot wanted to develop a car that can deliver seamless and straightforward experience along with true harmony with nature.

Freedom is what empowers Peugeot to ride on and approach the concept. The reason why the car has a design that will let people choose their own driving mode with accompanying sensations of movement.

Peugeot CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato said, "Our customers can vouch for something different Peugeot could offer. The success of the Peugeot 3008 proves it, and the same will be true of the self-driving car in the future. The vibe's new name is FREEDOM!

Although designing a self-driving car is a challenge on whether the people would like it or not, Imparato is opted to the challenge. There are two opposing concepts which are the autonomous mode and active driving.

Imparato made a clear statement that it was Peugeot company goal to put the two concepts together with a clear objective of maintaining the enjoyment and arouse emotions. With Peugeot Instinct Concept, the company can make sure that both the objectives were reached and that a self-driving concept can keep driving pleasure in mind.
