With excellent reviews bestowing its predecessor, the Galaxy S7, expectations are quite high for the largely awaited Galaxy S8. If the recent leaks are anything to go by, Samsung has another winner up its sleeve and the company seems all set to rectify the debacle of Note 7.

Though the Galaxy S8 is yet to hit the shelves, certain rumors and leaks related to the flagship Smartphone has been making errands of the market for quite some time. Both the S8 and S8 Plus are rumored to have WQHD+ OLED display with increased resolutions of 2960X2400 pixels. Each of the phones is supposed to have heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner. Reportedly, the front camera of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be an enhanced 8 MP one while the back one will remain 12 MP just like Galaxy S7. MicroUSB is predicted to be a thing of the past in both the sets, enabled with USB 3.1 Type C.

Both Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is rumored to have a new PC mode when connected to a TV or monitor. It is being said that the models of abovementioned devices, that are to be sold in the US, Japan and China, will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset, while those meant for European and Asian markets will have Samsung's Exynos 8895.

According to Trusted Reviews, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will have 4 GB RAM. Both the devices are said to be equipped with a full-screen display, omitting the home button. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be available in a number of color options, reportedly seven.

Rumors say that Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S8 on March 29th at a dedicated event in New York City. It was supposed that the handset will be launched at this year's Mobile World Congress, but the company is taking its time to impose rigorous safety checks to avoid any unpleasant situation like the "fiery debacle" of the Galaxy S7 last year.
