Samsung Galaxy S8 is scheduled for launching at the South Korean company’s event on April 21. Yet, leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was already leaked which makes it difficult for people to decide whether to just wait for the Note 8 instead amid the release of the S8.
Value Walk showed a leaked image of Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Of course, it is a successor of the Note 7 which makes it a phablet as well. But in terms of specs, it was reported that the Note 8 would have a massive screen display of 6.4 inches 18:9 ratio screen integrating the S8’s infinity screen as well.
With that said, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was reported to possibly be the first 4K resolution phablet that the company would make. Regarding what’s under its hood, the Note 8 has a powerful comparison of 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM compared to S8’s 4GB RAM 64GB ROM.
Furthermore, the similarities between the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 were identified to be its Bixby integration and infinity screen. Nonetheless, the Note 8 is considered as just a larger S8 with higher specs along with an S-pen which makes some consider the leaked image below as fake per Phone Arena.
Yet, the difference was identified to be that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s fingerprint would be placed on its screen compared to S8’s back fingerprint. Note 8 was also reported to have a dual camera setup along with a dual speaker. Yet, its 6.4-inch screen was seen as a competition to S8+ having a 6.2-inch display which is less expensive. The delay of Samsung S8’s Bixby Voice was also mentioned to might let people just wait for the Note 8 instead.
Forbes then mentioned that the reason that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 should rival its S8 smartphone is to return its Note series customers after the Note 7 issue. Regardless of the iPhone 7 and 8 models or other Android-powered devices, both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 should serve as a comeback for the tech giant after its Note 7 fiasco as reported.
