Samsung Galaxy Note 8 To Feature a Dual-Camera On The Back

South Korean electronics supergiant Samsung is expected to unveil their upcoming Galaxy Note 8 phablet smartphone anytime this year. The company had to be involved in many unfortunate incidents where the previous generation Galaxy Note 7 devices had to be recalled on a global scale due to increasingly dangerous battery issues that also lead to some automobiles going up in flames. This led to a global ban on the smartphone and also a lot of airline carriers issued a similar ban citing security and safety concerns.

That said, Samsung has definite plans to reintroduce a new device to the Galaxy 'Note' lineup with the release of Galaxy Note 8 device which, according to reports from WCCFtech, will feature dual cameras on the back. Going into the details, The new Note device will be totally improved from scratch in order to make sure Samsung will not face a repeat scenario with the new Note smartphones. The report also mentions that Samsung might offer existing customers with an upgrade program for those who haven't purchased the new Galaxy S8 lineup.

The rumor of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone featuring dual camera has been pointed out by the State Media in South Korea mentioning it to be the only major update from the previous models. As noted from BGR, the release date for the new smartphone from Samsung might be days away from being launched but however, Ming-Chi Kuo, a popular KGI analyst has stated that the cameras on the upcoming smartphone are expected to be much better than its competitor, the iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus from Apple.

Samsung seems to be concentrating primarily on the camera division for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone by reviewing the benefits of implementing a dual camera. This, fortunately, or unfortunately, seems to be a popular new trend in the industry with a lot of different manufacturers incorporating the same for their new smartphones hoping it will gather a much bigger audience than what is expected. However, it's currently unclear whether such a move is going to stay for a long time or fade away quickly.
