Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has now the company's confirmation of its launching schedule on May 25, 2017. The announcement is spread all over the Weibo website, whose active users number more than that of Twitter, finally setting the date which was previously scheduled on May 23, 2017.
Posters are spread all over the country heralding Xiaomi Mi Max 2's arrival at 2 PM with the company's CEO Lei Jun. To complement the launching activity is the Chinese girl band SNH48. The latest features of the phone will be revealed to the public to confirm or correct earlier promotional market leaks and assumptions by social media entrepreneurs.
According to leaks earlier reported on social media websites, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will have a complete overhaul in all the phone's departments such as its software, hardware, and camera among its renewed features. Part of Mi Max 2 feature overhaul is its massive 6.44 inches HD Resolution full display and a 5000mAH battery pack that goes with the phone.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be available in two variants. The first variant has a Snapdragon 626 system on chip (SoC) with a 4GB RAM tagged at CHY 14,999.00. The high-end phone is the second variant that comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC Processor with a 6.0 GB of RAM at CNY 1,699.00, reports India Today.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to come with a full metal body and a 12-megapixel camera equipped with a Sony IMX 378 sensor while the front end is a 5-megapixel camera. The storage department boasts of a 128GB variant. Dual speaker grilles will also feature the phone located at the bottom part of the unit, a USB port Type C, a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge, and a fingerprint scanner at the back part of the phone will form part of the new phone, reports ie Technology.
The Weibo Website advises that Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will initially be on sale in China only. The company expresses that it will eventually distribute these phones worldwide.
