Samsung has introduced a new kind of an offer for residents in the United States. Consumers buying two Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus smartphones will be charged for the price of a single phone only, with the help of a recently launched BOGO offer. As per norms set by the company, both the smartphones must be compatible with T-Mobile carrier and should be purchased through Samsung's official store website.
As reported by Android Authority, users will have up to a maximum period of 14 days to activate at least one of the two Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. After the deadline period, users will be issued a refund of up to $750 for the lower-priced device among the two. The report also mentions the sale period is only for a limited period of time.
Samsung said refunds for one of the two lower-priced Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones would be issued very quickly, within 7 to 10 days. Alongside the credit, eligible customers will also be able to get the entertainment kit from Samsung which contains a free S-View cover, a 64GB Evo+ microSD card and a six-month subscription to Netflix. The value of the kit is apparently $170 as noted from GSMArena.
T-Mobile has also set up its own BOGO offer for users requiring the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. However, the carrier will not be able to send out refunds until six to eight weeks from the date of filing, and will also not include any other freely offered accessories by Samsung. The South Korean manufacturer announced both their latest flagship smartphones at a private event in New York City this year.
Key hardware specifications of both the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones include the newly released Snapdragon 835 processor along with an infinity edge display on the front. Samsung has also repositioned the fingerprint sensor at the back side, just next to the camera.
