LG’s Venture X Smartphone Soon Available To AT&T Subscribers in the US.

LG plans to introduce a budget-friendly smartphone that will be exclusively sold by AT&T in the United States. The device is primarily aimed at consumers who prefer to buy cheaper priced smartphones under a strict budget. Named as the 'LG Venture X', the new smartphone will run the latest Android Nougat OS v7.0 out of the box.

According to The Verge, the LG Venture X smartphone is actually IP68 certified, that will resist water and dust up to a certain extent. The phone has also passed through 14 different drop and temperature evaluative tests. Even though the phone is planned to be sold worldwide, AT&T will be the sole carrier in the US to sell the new LG device.

As reported by Digital Trends, the LG Venture X smartphone features a metal framing and a shatter-resistant display on the top with an onboard resolution of 1080p. There's also a Corning gorilla glass that is resistant to scratches. The company plans to ship the device with some of their own proprietary applications like the Outdoor Essentials. The package comprises of various sensors like a barometer, an exercise tracker, and an activity counter.

The LG Venture X is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor that helps with unlocking the device or authenticating any online purchases. The new smartphone from LG is aimed at consumers who likely spend less on a smartphone without any key compromises in its internal hardware and overall build quality. In their press release, the company said adventurists would make a good use of the device due to built-in trackers and applications.

Hardware specifications of the LG Venture X smartphone primarily feature a 4100mAh battery powering the device. A Snapdragon 435 processor is also equipped with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone can store data up to a maximum capacity of 32GB. The device also comes with two cameras, a 16MP sensor at the back while the front-facing camera can take pictures up to a resolution of 5MP.
