In the beginning of the year, there was news of Lenovo lining up the launch of devices in the coming year. The list included Motorola smartphone series E, Z, G, C, and X.
Keeping new smartphones hidden before launch is seeming tough for Lenovo! Currently, it is rumored that the company will be launching a new variant in its G series. During a supposedly short briefing by Lenovo, there has been a leak of images of Moto G5S.
According to NDTV Gadgets 360, the phone will be made available in three options of colors namely Blue, Gold and Grey. Additionally, its Plus variant renders four colors - Gold, Gold with white front, Silver and Silver with a white front. From the few details that have been mentioned about the specifications, there is a hint of the model having a full metal chassis body and supposed dual rear cameras as well.
Lenovo's G5S has front facing flash and fingerprint sensors. Similar to the Moto M series, the metal bodied handset has sport antenna bands at the back.
It may be possible that the Moto G5S may not have a dual rear camera but its plus variant G5S Plus may have a dual rear camera. Also, there is a hint that Lenovo's Moto G5S Plus may have similar features adapted from Moto G5Plus.
The rumors about the specifications of G5S are 5.2 inches full HD display, Nougat Android and Octa core processor as said by The Tech Portal. The Plus variant will have a bigger screen of 5.5 inches and have fingerprint sensors in the front.
There are not many details about other specifications, but from the information gathered till now, G5S is very much geared up to be launched with others from the Lenovo offerings Moto Z2, Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z2Play. Moto X4 is the separate model devised to target premium whereas, Moto E4, E4 Plus and Moto C and C Plus are expected to be placed at the lower- end of the spectrum.
