The new Surface Pro which is the successor of Surface Pro 4 instead of the numbered release is earning popularity today. However, which one among the two Surface products is best in terms of practicality?

The new Surface Pro will begin shipments on June 15, 2017, starting at the price of $799 for the base model with 128GB hard drive, Intel Core m3 processor and a 4GB of RAM. It has four other options for specific models on different specs and capability and the highest priced Surface Pro model has 1TB hard drive, 16GB of RAM and Intel Core i7 at $2,699.
Meanwhile, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 which fits a larger screen and higher resolution earned 8.5 percent overall rating from CNET. According to Trusted Reviews, customers can also save big on the price of the Surface Pro 4 now as offered by the company.
Its base model before has a price of around $950, but now, it can only be purchased at more than $800. The base model of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 runs with an Intel Core m3 processor,128GB storage and a 4GB of RAM. When compared with the new Surface Pro base model both have the same specifications, the only difference is the price.
On the other hand, the highest specs model of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Core i7, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and including a Surface Pen has reduced its price from more than $3000 to only $2400. Note that this has similar specs with the Surface Pro excluding the free Surface Pen.
Thus, in terms of practicality, it can be concluded that the new Surface Pro is better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. However, this does not include the features and capability of its battery and design.
