Asus Liquid Cooled ROG GX800 Laptop Makes A Significant Upgrade On Its Overclocking Capabilities

Asus made the liquid cooled ROG GX800 one of the most powerful laptops they have released in the market. But it seems that the Taiwanese based company is boosting the said device once more. The laptop purportedly has made one significant upgrade on its overclocking capabilities to reach its maximum potential performance for their loyal users.

Asus is a Taiwanese multinational company that is famous manufacturing computer hardware and consumer electronic product such as desktops, mobile phones, monitors, motherboards, graphic cards, tablet PCs, and laptops. Just last year, the company introduced a potent laptop that has a liquid cooled gaming feature, the ROG GX800.

The ROG GX800 is the successor of the GX700, that first introduced a water-cooled gaming laptop in the market. Many are amazed at the GX800 bulky size and immense overclocking aptitude in a luxurious price. But one thing that is more surprising about it is the overpowering specifications the laptop brings.

According to Gadgets 360, Asus sports the ROG GX800 with a quad-core 2.9GHz Intel Core i7-7820HK processor, two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, 64GB of RAM and three 512GB PCIe SSDs. It also features an 18.4-inch LED backlit screen display with a Nvidia G-sync refresh rate support for maximum gaming experience.

Asus also gives the ROG GX800 laptop a three USB 3.0 standard ports with a Thunderbolt 3.0 and 10Gbps UBS 3.1 high-speed connection. But the fascinating feature for the laptop is its Hydro Overclocking dock that carries the liquid cooling radiators. The dock contains an air coolant that sucks out the heat from the CPU and GPU giving the laptop a better gameplay.

And now, Asus will give the ROG GX800 laptop another boost on its performance. The GX800 will now carry the Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor giving it more clock speed in the process according to PC Gamer. From a maximum overclocking speed of 4.1GHz, the laptop can achieve the full potential speed of 4.4GHz with the Kaby Lake chipset.

There's no doubt that Asus once again made the liquid cooled ROG GX800 laptop another device to look after with its latest upgrade. Though there are emerging brand new and lightweight laptops in the market today, the GX800 cannot be overlooked as it now brings an incredible overclocking capabilities the other laptops don't have.
