The most famous UFO case in the US, dubbed the Roswell Incident, still produces more evidence as experts try to prove the validity of the reported alien crash.
What Happened at the Roswell Incident?
On June 14, 1947, a rancher named W.W. Brazel and his son were driving across their ranchland northwest of Roswell when they came across a bright wreckage composed of tinfoil, rubber strips, tough paper, and sticks. The metallic-looking fabric was scattered across the New Mexico desert.
On July 4, Brazel gathered all the wreckage and delivered them to Sheriff George Wilcox. The sheriff contacted Colonel Blanchard, commander of the Roswell Army Airfield's 509th Composite Group who sought the help of his superior General Roger W. Ramey.
The incident made headlines when the US Army Air Force issued a report stating that the recovered debris was from a 'flying disc.' Later on, the agency reversed its statement and instead claimed that the material was just a component of a downed weather balloon.
Uncovering the Truth
Geologist Frank Kimbler from New Mexico Military Institute is one of the many experts who were not convinced with the official version of the US military. Since 2010, he has scoured the crash site with a metal detector and has since recovered more than 20 unusual scraps of metal, mostly of the size of a fingernail.
Just recently, Kimbler has submitted a uniquely odd metal material to be tested to the Discovery Channel's new series entitled "Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction." The analysis revealed that the metal was 100% pure aluminum, believed to be compelling evidence that aliens indeed crashed on the site several decades ago.
Kimbler claims that this quarter-inch long metal fragment was recovered from an ant hill within the debris field in Roswell. Studying ant hills for harvested metals has been a common practice among mining geologists, gold prospectors, and metal detector hobbyists.
According to Jim Davis of Utah's geology survey, insect colonies are known for gathering sturdy and buried materials to be used in building their tunnel systems. From the ant's undertakings, prospectors are able to collect rich collections of copper, gold, turquoise, nickel, diamonds, and many other minerals.
According to series' co-host Chrissy Newton, the tests on the pure aluminum mystery metal are compelling. This is because a former Pentagon UFO investigator has once told her that pure aluminum has been linked to several other UFO crash sites.
Newton did not disclose the name of her Pentagon source, but she described them as someone from the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). From 2017 to 2012, this organization has been tasked to take part in studying UFOs.
To confirm Kimbler's discovery, the metal sample was sent by the new Discovery Channel series to Texas-based Cerium Labs for chemical testing via mass spectrometry. According to Cerium Labs chief scientist Dr. Tom Hossain, the aluminum metal fragment was unusual for its purity and was also different from the typical industry-grade metal used in manufacturing.
It also appears that the debris exhibits other extraordinary properties. It does not only remember its original form when bent or crushed, but it also has the potential to make things invisible, slow down the speed of light, and compress electromagnetic energy.
