Android Wear 2.0: Fossil's Watches Will Get The Update In Few Weeks

It's been few weeks since the release of Android Wear 2.0. Android wear users are eagerly waiting to update their devices to the latest operating system.

There is a good news for Fossil users. They will be able to use the new operating system in a few weeks. According to the company, Android Wear 2.0 will hit Fossil devices mid-March, as written in Digital Times.

It is not clear that for which region it will be released but Android Wear 2.0 update will hit Fossil devices very soon. Some users might have to wait for a few more weeks to get their update.

Android Wear 2.0 was first announced at Google I/O in May 2016. For some reasons, Google delayed the release until early 2017. Some new devices have already started shipping new operating system i.e. LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style.

Fossil puts great emphasis on the fashionable smart watch and that's why its watches are different than others. Fans are eagerly waiting for their Fossil watches to get Android Wear 2.0 update.

According to Wareable, Fossil Wear trio - Fossil Q Founder, Fossil Q Marshal and Fossil Q Wander will get Android Wear 2.0 update. The Michael Kors Access Duo that is a Fossil watch brand will also get this update soon.

Fossil beats its rival Asus on giving the Android Wear 2.0 update to its devices. Asus recently stated that the ZenWatch 2 and 3 will get the update in Q2 of 2017. Polar also confirmed that the M600 update will arrive this spring.

Android Wear 2.0 introduces some big features including standalone apps and improved fitness tracking. There is a totally changed user interface with a simple vertical design to eliminate the swipes to access different screens.

Android Wear 2.0 update introduces subdials that act as notification-focused widgets. Users can customise the subdials that allow building the watch face of their choice.
